Great staff, clean hotel, comfortable bed, spacious bathroom, pleasant and relaxing lobby area, excellent buffet breakfast.
The room was a good size but, as with so many hotel rooms these days, the interior designer assumed that people travel without luggage or clothes. Apart from one open glass unit, there was nowhere to store anything. There were bedside table tops but they were not solid units with drawers in them so one could not store books, electronic devices, cables etc. The work table was a good size but, again, had no cupboards or drawers. The bathroom was very nice but the wash basin was a metre long semi-circular glass trough which, because of its shape, did not drain very well, leaving residue unless one kept cleaning it with one’s hands. There is a very good reason why basins have always had a three-dimensional curve - it allows proper drainage. A fancy design should not come at the express of good functioning!

A well located hotel in the centre of Nantes
My trip was during a heatwave and sadly the air conditioning was not as controllable or as cold as I would have liked.

The professionalism of the staff! They were friendly and readily available.
The lack of AC… It was 29.5 degrees in the room. However, the staff provided us with a fan, which things more bearable.

Centrally located - within walking distance of the university along with various restaurants, cafes etc. Room was clean and tidy. Good shower. Breakfast decent also.
AC was not working throughout my stay and it was a hot summer week so room could get quite uncomfortable at night. They did provide a fan which helped somewhat. Moved to a different room after the first night but AC there did not work either. Staff were apologetic and did compensate me by refunding one night's stay. Room could do with a tea/coffee station and a couple of bottles of water. More hot options with breakfast would be nice also. Overall, this hotel is ok but I would not say it is 4 star really - 3 star max.
