NEVER AGAIN….EVER !!!! …just a total disappointment….. the apartment WITHOUT A LAKE VIEW

The 4 days stay was NOT a pleasant experience. We’ve booked dozens of accommodation with Booking.com and this one rates as the worst.

The location was noisy, near a busy intersection, above a restaurant and opposite a childrens playground. Impossible to open doors and windows for the noise. The apartment was advertised as having a lake view…..IT DOESNT ( false and misleading advertising) There was no tv remote so couldn’t watch television. No instructions how to operate aircon Bathroom vanity sink was blocked & therefore unhygenic Freezer unit in fridge was so packed with ice , one couldn’t open the drawers. The unit was spartan as to providing no facilities. The lounge was so uncomfortable , sitting on a brick wall would have been more comfortable. Overall the apartment rates as a 2 star stay…..and is grossly overpriced for what it provides My issues were reported by email to HAPPY RENTALS and a hand written note left at Lugano office ….no response.

Nice place to stay in Lugano

Three of us stayed here in Sept 2023. This was a really nice apartment near the centre of Lugano. The instructions for getting into the apartment were a bit unclear but in the end it was quite easy to access it. Unfortunately, the Wi-Fi was not working but this was resolved very promptly the next day by the local team. The apartment is very modern and clean and a short walk from the centre. We arrived by train on Sunday evening and took a short bus ride which stopped very near to the apartment which was very convenient. We also took the bus back again when we left. Unfortunately, the only shop that was open on Sunday evening was right next to the station, so I had to go all the way back there again to get some provisions. The on-site team in the office nearby were very helpful and allowed me to print out our train tickets before we left. I'd recommend this as a place to stay in Lugano. By the way, there is no lake view from this apartment- unless you have a telescope!

Beautiful Apartment in a Fantastic Location

Excellent help from the rental office. Apartment very clean and up to date. WiFi did not cost anything and worked well. Washing machine and dryer were greatly appreciated. Rental officer gave us laundry soap gratis. Thank you. Location in center of old town, close to the lake and the large city park.

Nothing. Everything was excellent and the few concerns we had were quickly rectified by the rental agency.

Superb

Great location. Nice, spacious apartment with good amenities. If you have meetings at the Congress Center, it is ideal. only 2 minutes to the lakeside and the park. We loved our breakfast, we prepared ourselves.

It is a bummer that they don't provide a second key. We are a couple, not Siamese twins.

Great location, clean and spacious

The apartment location was excellent--near the park and the town center--and the unit was very clean with nice modern furnishings. The unit had elevator access which was great, especially with a stroller.

The check in and check out process could be improved. Getting the keys upon arrival to Lugano was not simple--having to walk from the Train Station with luggage and a stroller was challenging. Also, there was no flexibility on Check out time. 10am is quite early especially if we have to walk with all the luggage back to the office to return the key. Suggest a lockbox to access the key directly on site and allowing guests to leave the key in the Unit when leaving.

Do not forget to talk to Sonja very helpful

The location of the apartment is excellent, a very short walk to the main bus station 3 minutes walk, 6 minutes walk to the city center and Manor, for those who like a casino right next to the apartment a minute walk, parking is very very convenient (not very designed for large vehicles) Sonja excellent office manager. I have already ordered again.

I personally like slightly stiff bed mattresses.

I sincerely love the environment, the location is great. However I believe it is way too pricey.

Location is great, however, I believe they should be a way to get the keys right there at the property instead of having to get them from the office and returning them at the office after such a long journey. People travel from far and the last thing you need after such a long trip is to walk from office to the property with much luggage or to make multiple stops just to get the keys

NO WIFI connection during my entire stay. No water bottle in the fridge. Or any little thing just to feel welcomed. I believe adding some water, crackers just to welcome your guest won’t hurt. We travel again from far, some of us get here not knowing what to expect. We might arriving late and not even having some crackers is bad. Also the shower is too tiny. I could barely bend myself in the shower cabin. I don’t think couple could enjoy bathing together in that cabin. Just too small.

everything was nice

We liked absolutely everything about the apartment! You cant'imagine a better location for your stay in Lugano. The apartment is Really in Centre of Lugano. Everything you can find the apartment( From disches in the kitchen to towels in the bathroom) it was easy to get the Keys. I'm already looking forward to coming back!

Very good

Excellent location - just in front of a big park. Modern, nice and clean apartment

The communication flow with the owners was a bit excessive and still not effective - we have gotten 9 pages of instruction how to enter the apartment, about 5 messages with reminders to read the instruction, and it was still not enough to find all the necessary answers. When we called with a question the advice was to refer to the same instruction. Really? No kettle to boil the water.
