Won’t stay again.

Location.

TV. Limited channels. Not tuned. Hot water was just a dribble. Also NO WIFI.

Mould covered shampoo / conditioner dispensers in shower. ( I actually took pics ) Mould bottom row of tiles in shower. Filthy basin taps with a ring of grime around the bottom of the tap where it meets the basin and filthy basin. Carpets were absolutely putrid and where the carpet meets the walls was just fluff and filth that had just been left as the person vacuuming clearly didn’t care. Filthy toaster and ripped couch with holes . The toilet seat was putrid and had disgusting stuff in the gap where loo seat meets the lid, despite the fact that it is easily accessible to clean and has clearly just been done so poorly I was so disgusted. Half a toilet roll, clearly left from the last guest. Reception was only interested in payment when I went to check in and I told them I had to take my bags into the room and get my purse out of my suitcase and then I will come back in to pay. He came to my room 5 minutes later and asked me to come back and pay even as he had to close reception, even though reception was suppose to be open until 8pm and they knew my arrival time. As a woman on her own in a town I had never been before I didn’t appreciate being approached in my room for payment and I made that known to him. I realise it wasn’t an expensive motel and as I had to leave at 7am the next morning for a meeting I just wanted something reasonable and close to where I had to go in the morning but that was just not even at a reasonable standard. I actually slept on top of the bed covers I was so grossed out by the place and it had some incense or something that had been sprayed and it was that strong it coated my mouth with whatever it was and was nauseating. Hated being there .

Grate location but had a lot of problems with the rooms

The Property was close to everything that we needed

In one of the rooms (number 3) the Heater was very noisy and the spa wasn’t working so we didn’t get to use that In room 15 the Heater wasn’t working well (it wasn’t blowing out well and kept turning off) the bathroom wasn’t clean the shower would spay everywhere and all over the toilet ) Room 4 same problem with the shower but the water itself the cold water wasn’t working so it was just hot showers

Good location nearby where I needed it.

Dated decor minimal supplies of poor quality. Dirty basin which is obviously not cleaned correctly as it is old dirt around base of taps and around the drain hole. No message or call to let me know how to check in as I arrived at 10 pm. I had to call a mobile number to find anything out which I managed to find on the booking. com app.

The room is in need of refurbishment as its quite dated. Carpet was old and a bit dirty but overall it was okay for value

very accomadating manager who understood and catered to our needs on a busy day. very central location. very good price and all you need regarding facilities. nice and warm.
