The location was superb.
The breakfast was ok and limited. One particular staff member was customer unfriendly. When asked for an alternative for the one egg option they offered, they refused to accommodate and just said their kitchen was too busy when clearly it seemed doable. There was not a huge crowd sitting at the breakfast.
The room toiletries were also limited and some seemed used when we checked in.

Hôtel (type « boutique hôtel ») très bien situé directement en bord de plage (de sable gris / minuscules cailloux mais agréable), belle perspective sur l’îlot en face (visitable en jet ski louable dans l’hôtel voisin) avec une très belle piscine (avec 4 vrais petits couloirs de nage face à la mer), loin du tumulte de la rue. Hôtel calme, bien tenu. Standards « occidentaux » et clim efficace. Kitchenettes plutôt rudimentaires (pas utilisées mais sont-elles utiles?)
Petit déjeuner très sympathique au bord de la piscine et avec des spécialités crétoises. Idem, déjeuner « pool side » à la fois classique et local, sans chichi mais vraiment « chill ». Pas de dîner sur place mais quelques très bons restaurants dans les environs immédiats (avec ou sans voiture).
Excursions possibles depuis l’hôtel facilement (proximité de la nationale mais assez loin pour ne pas être audible). Supermarchés à côté.
Rien de fondamental à redire.
Peut-être une allergie personnelle au tourisme de masse à Platanias ou même en Crète en général mais cet hôtel en est finalement assez éloigné et préservé par son côté « boutique hôtel » qui tranche avec le reste des dizaines et dizaines d’hôtels alignés les uns après les autres sur des kms et des kms…

Beach front location. 5 mins easy walk to lots of shops and restaurants. Breakfast was delicious. Staff friendly and helpful.
