Hostal Mediterráneo was a fantastic stay in the beautiful town of Tossa de Mar. The location is very convenient: you'll find it on a side street in the city centre less than a 10 min walk away from the bus station (if you're coming by bus/coach from Barcelona like I did). It's close to everything you need (there's a grocery shop literally around the corner and many convenience stores too) but still plenty quiet at night for a great night of sleep. The hotel is exceptionally clean and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Air-con in the room is absolute bliss and having a private little balcony was quite nice. Breakfast is simple but does the trick and the bathroom is fairly small but, again, everything works perfectly fine. Overall, I'd really recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing stay in Tossa.
A small suggestion would be to have some small toiletries in the bathroom, like soap and shampoo. Also, having some filter coffee for breakfast (as opposed to machine coffee) would be great, but that's just personal preference.

Great location in the heart of Tossa - very friendly and helpful staff - clean and nice rooms. Even got an umbrella to use for the beach. Couldn’t ask for anything more!!
