We had a relaxing stay at the Paradise Sun Hotel Seychelles. The welcome from the staff was exceptional. The room was fantastic, complete with a comfortable bed and all the amenities needed for our five night stay. We chose the half board option, and both breakfast and dinner were wonderful. Dinner is served as a buffet in a spacious beachside hut with a sandy floor, so sandals are a must. A different theme each evening, alongside live music on select nights, provided great variety, with Friday night offering a delightful glimpse into Creole culture.
Although we really enjoyed the buffet dinner, we felt the head chef was not allowing his team to do their jobs. He marched up and down the buffet as if conducting a military inspection, constantly lifting lids on the food. This created an intimidating atmosphere for his staff and was somewhat offputting for paying guests. He would do well to trust his team more and foster more pride among them in the great work that they do. Apart from this, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this hotel.

We had a wonderful stay at Paradise Sun and would definitely come back.
Our room was cleaned every day and was always spotless, well organized, and very well maintained. The rooms themselves are beautiful, comfortable, and feel very fresh.
The staff were incredibly warm, polite, and professional, and everything throughout the hotel felt very well organized.
Breakfast and dinner were both excellent. We especially loved that every evening had a different dinner theme, from Italian to Asian cuisine, so we had the chance to try something different every night.
One of our favorite things was the view from our room. We had a direct view of the beach surrounded by palm trees, which made our morning coffee feel like a scene from a movie.
If you are coming to Praslin, we would absolutely recommend staying at Paradise Sun. It made our time on the island even more special.

The breakfast was great. There were a number of choices on the buffet. And the service was v good. The dinner buffet every night was excellent, especially the salad table and the dessert table.

Rooms were ok. Location was ok.
Unfortunately we didn’t enjoy this hotel. During our stay beach was full of seaweed, hotel doesn’t take any action to clean the beach. If you decide to stay here car is a must to explore beautiful beaches of Praslin.
Beach picture the hotel is advertising is extremely misleading, it’s nowhere near what’s on the picture, and we never stayed even for a day at the beach.
Breakfast was average - rather giving 3* experience, dinners are buffet style and taste wise vary from day to day. The least favorite in our opinion was the seafood themed dinner and the best was bbq night. Restaurant is on the beach, but venue is nothing fancy.
Taste wise all 6 dinners were rather underwhelming even the selection was generous.
Plates were cleaned from tables fast and plates cleaning station organized in the middle of restaurant - not something guests should observe while eating. This is really bad manners, i strongly suggest moving scraping of the dirty dishes somewhere remote.
Staff was kind and polite but not delivering the same kind of customer service we had experienced previously in Seychelles. They were polite but not really interested. Rather dissatisfied and tired. This is something hotel management should look into.
Overall this hotel is extremely overpriced for what it is. Don’t expect anything fancy or of high standards!
