Club Palm Bay

We had a really enjoyable stay at Club Palm Bay. The biggest surprise was the number of sports and recreational facilities — it honestly feels like a hidden gem and gives you the atmosphere of a Southern beach resort without travelling too far from Negombo. The room, beautiful surroundings, view, food and overall atmosphere were excellent. A special mention has to go to the pork stew, which was genuinely one of the best we’ve ever had! The staff were also very friendly and helpful despite the hotel being extremely busy. We would definitely return, especially for a longer family stay.

There was nothing major that negatively affected our stay. The only area I feel could be improved is the communication around the All-Inclusive package before arrival. The concept was slightly different from other All-Inclusive resorts we have stayed at, and the information provided doesn’t fully explain everything that is included. A simple pre-arrival message through Booking.com clearly outlining the inclusions, timings and any limitations would help guests understand what to expect and make an already great experience even better.

Excellent Family Stay at Club Palm Bay, Marawila We had a wonderful family stay at Club Palm Bay, Marawila on 14–15 August 2026. We stayed on a Bed & Breakfast basis with my wife Kanchana and our daughter Melina. The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The hotel has a large swimming pool, which our daughter enjoyed so much, as well as a kids’ playground and a large area for walking and relaxing. The whole place was very pleasant, peaceful, and calm. We really appreciated the complimentary fruit plate and snack plate provided to us. Melina loved them! ❤️ Our room was large, comfortable, and very clean. We also had dinner at the hotel, and there were many varieties of delicious food. We really enjoyed the dinner. The complimentary breakfast was also very delicious and satisfying. At checkout, the staff surprised our daughter with a souvenir and a complimentary snack box, which was a lovely and memorable gesture. ❤️ We had a very happy and enjoyable family stay, and our daughter had an amazing time for the whole two days. She absolutely loved the swimming pool and the hotel facilities. Thank you, Club Palm Bay, for giving our family such a wonderful experience. We would definitely love to visit again! ❤️ Suranga M. I appreciate the swimming pool facilities, as they demonstrate good attention to children’s safety and care.

They did not provide welcome drinks. Additionally, the package includes a 10-minute Ayurvedic massage; however, the Ayurvedic center did not respond to phone calls made via the receptionist, the extension, or the direct mobile number. We also visited the center in person, but no staff were present, despite the center being open.
