The staff are so friendly and accommodating. The town experienced a power cut during our stay so the staff asked to move us to another part of the hotel which would be quieter - much appreciated!
Personally I would recommend upgrading to the fancier room
It's a little tired and the rooms smell of cigarette smoke. The newer part of the hotel still feels a little unfinished, with curtains that didn't work and half a shower screen but it was so much more plus than what we were originally given.

Hotel Gros is a perfect option for a 1-night overnight stop in transit when on holiday. This was our second time at this hotel and we knew exactly what to expect. The room and the beds were very comfortable. The carpets of the hotel are worn and used, but overall everything was nice and clean. It was definitely value for money, as the price also included breakfast.
There is nothing that we didn't like. We really appreciated the proximity of Gros Restaurant, which serves amazing Serbian food!

Location not too far from centre.
Reception lady welcoming and helpful.
Very dated and worn building and furnishings, poor ventilation. Loud music from restaurant next door. Walls paper thin, could hear next door snoring.
