For an old building, it was very well renovated, achieving a level of comfort close to a modern building. The check-out process was very simple. The location couldn't be better, giving you easy access via car to/from the city, and by foot into the old town.
As with any historical building, there's a give and take for the level of charm it presents.

Very comfortable setting. With easy access to Santo Stefano, Campo Imperatore and multiple beautiful hiking trails.
Excellent breakfast selection and attention to detail of the property.

Historic building was quaint.
However, the beds were not comfortable, no real amenities. The breakfast was bare bones which included yogurt, juice, some fruit and stale bakery. Nothing really around it to do. No comfortable outdoor seating and lots of bugs.
