The manager was very friendly and the location in the woods was nice.
I somehow ended up in the wrong room because the automated key box dropped a room key and I grabbed what I could see in the bottom of the box. No idea how that happened, maybe my room key was stuck further up and later fell down? The room key I grabbed was for a single room and the guest that should have been there never showed up. So my husband and I shared a single room with one pillow, one towel… when the manager arrived in the morning he was very apologetic and showed us the room we should have been in and offered us complimentary breakfast which was nice of him. However, the bed so uncomfortable not because of the size or pillow situation - just because the mattress was awful, and we had to clear several spiders out of the room before I felt safe enough to sleep, that it just wasn’t a great night.

Short walk from the centre of Füssen (about 15 minutes). Lovely sauna.
The bathroom (particularly the bath) could do with some renovation as it’s not in the best state. There were multiple photos shown for the room we booked and we had the impression the room was not as nice as the photos suggested in reality. Also, the sauna is only available in the afternoon from 3pm and you have to ask reception in advance to turn it on - this was quite limiting for a short stay and given the reception is only open until 4pm.

The garden view is nice, so is the bathroom.
We where placed next to the breadfast room and kitchen. Meaning offcourse that we where awake at 07.00h in the morning (on a sunday..) There was even a breakfast card right in front of our door when we want to go out.. Noise and more noise! Not nice at all for sleeping.
