Great location, calm, great heated pool, lovely peaceful garden, tasty breakfast. The staff are very friendly and the cleaning ladies are very talented artists, leaving little sculpture surprises made out of towels - amazing :)

The complex itself was beautifully landscaped. A lovely pool area and we had a sandwich at the cafe which was also tasty. Our room was bright and spacious and a hammock and chair made sitting outside comfy. An occasional Toucan sat in the trees.
As we were there for tours, you didn’t get loads of time to sit around, our arrival day was one of those lucky days. But an angle grinder, jet washer and a welding torch were being simultaneously used next to the pool for most of the afternoon, even after a complaint. A similar thing happened in the one hour slot the next day. We retired to our room instead. We can’t speak Portuguese and that’s our problem, but generally speaking the staff didn’t want to interact with us. Not even a hello when we came in or left. One guy did though which was nice. We do try and speak the language but mainly only a bit of Spanish. If you’re there for tours, I’d also avoid using Bonitours as whilst the organisation was good and so were the tours themselves we didn’t get on well with the communication and attitude to us.
