Beautiful setting and lovely room, great restaurant food, we had the half board option which was terrific value and great food. Big room with lovely balcony overlooking the lake, garage parking for the bikes.
The owner was very very nice , but an elderly waitress was, well let’s say a little abrupt..😂

Area and location of the hotel.
The meal that we were offered was not up to expectation and the inclusive price of €30 was poor as we could have used the a la carte for less.

The area was very pretty though we got a heavy impression of faded glory from the town. It still kept his charms though and we visited a lot of amazing places all around that were driving distance, mostly castles which were pretty well maintained. In the evening we had a very nice walk following the river and there were no loud noices to disturb the tranquility of the place.
We found 5 spiders in the room; 2 above the bed in the hollowed out part of the ceiling where the lights were, 1 in the drapes, 1 on the inside of the windowsill in the main bedroom and another in the 2nd bedroom's windownsill. To be fair, we didn't alert the staff as we had the impression they were already somewhat understaffed, it was summer and a window was open that was surrounded by grapevines when we came in, so they might have been recent additions to the room.
