Great location and close to everything I needed. I was there for the weekend for Salon Privé, and having a bus stop nearby was really useful.
The owner knew the local area very well and was really helpful, even giving me advice on the best way to get to Diddly Squat Farm from where I was staying.
Really convenient stay and a great base for the weekend!

The room was spacious and had a kitchenette which I wasn’t expecting.
The staff member who dealt with us was friendly.
The bed was very comfortable and it was quiet at night.
The aircon was broken and it was a heatwave so they just removed the remote without an explanation. We asked for an extra sheet when we booked but they forgot and had to be asked to bring it. No one was there when we came to check in so we had to call them and let ourselves in following instructions on the phone.
When I booked Booking.Com said the price was inclusive of breakfast but the hotel said they had not received payment for this and so I had to pay extra.
The breakfast was awful, missing some items because the staff member said they didn’t have enough money to buy sausages, and it was hugely overpriced to begin with.
The room obviously hadn’t been cleaned thoroughly as I dropped something on the floor and when I bent to pick it up I could see crumbs and hair and dust under and behind the sofa and in the corners.
There was a silverfish bug on my pillow which disappeared into the headboard once I disturbed.
