Lovely hotel with very friendly staff. The room was comfortable and the food was good. There are some nice gastro pubs nearby, as well as lovely walks along the river. I recommend this place.
The walls were quite thin, and unfortunately, one of the nights we were unable to sleep very well because we could hear guests in the neighbouring room having a loud conversation throughout the night.

Comfortable bed, room was spacious with en-suite facilities and clean.
Host was welcoming on arrival sat at a table by the bar which seemed to be his work station with paper work on.
Breakfast service needs to improve.
Tables not well organised, so people were having to share with people they don’t know, or with people who had brought a dog with them.
Breakfast choice was very sparse and no decent coffee.

The full English was ok , lovely mug of tea .
The room was on the small side but comfortable enough for a few days stay .
Location was perfect for exploring .
Plenty of tea / coffee making facilities in room .
The lack of space in the room was the main issue,
The shower was lovely and powerful but the negatives were that there's nowhere to store the 2 large towels and no caddy in the cubicle to have your toiletries within reach whilst showering
