The spa and hamam, breakfast was generous

The hotel was well located. The rooms were well appointed and clean and the hotel met expectations.
When we first arrived, we asked about where we could eat dinner and we received a very casted answer.. We have our hotel restaurant open, and I asked again, I would like to eat outside,can you recommend something, the answer was.. again, we have the hotel restaurant open. I looked on tripadvisor and found an awesome place several kms from the hotel but it would be nice to have a better answer. The next day however, the restaurants all closed because of covid and the staff was helpful in assisting me to set up an application on my phone to order burgers delivered to the hotel. That was nice. The breakfast was perfunctory at best. The room disenfectant had a weird odor to us.. Like an old barber shop but the second day the odor was gone.

Quirky hotel, very clean and comfortable. Liked that free water was given daily.
Cleaners excellent and nothing is too much trouble for them. Mix up with my room upon arrival, but sorted out quickly. Great that the hotel had a lift.
Lovely views from the back of the hotel. I was in a front room to begin, but moved as it was noisy and the room I booked said it has a balcony.
Dining room was mostly cold, it's a very big room with a partition, so I understand this.
Breakfast - same thing everyday, already prepared on a tray. I was there for 10 days and realy needed some variety. A small menu with a couple of different options would be nice - maybe the choice of Turkish Breakfast, Omellette, Eggs cooked to order, pancakes and toast.
Evening meals also weren't great, Mercimek soup lovely and the meatballs were nice, but needed to be served with rice or potato. The restuarant, for me, let the hotel down.
