Great location. 5 minutes from the very centre, but on a quiet street. The stuff is very friendly, the hostel is small and not crowded
Bunk beds are very basic: when someone moves on a lower bed, the upper bed is shaking. The strairs from the upper bed end up at the bedside table, I almost had to do splits to get down as the bedside table was had my neighbour's open cans.
I also had bad luck with the neighbors: they didn't seem to be tourists, they've been living there for a while and had their things covering all shared area, they were not talking to me at all and looked irritated with my presense. I couldn't stay in the dorm exept for the night sleepover, as I felt uncomfortable annoying them.

Cute and quiet place, self check-in was easy and the communication with Miguel was easy.
Nice simple breakfast :) overall a very nice and well equipped place
The scent sprayed around the hostel is a bit overwhelming

It's easy to visit Guimaraes with Flixbus from the airport. I highly recommend this hostel for its location. From there its nice to visit the castle and wander the narrow streets full of history. The hostel is clean, rooms are big, and 3.5 € breakfast service is the best start for the day. The hostel was not crowded at all. I felt like a king in a castle during the week. :-)

The hostel is in a great location
It wasn’t as clean as I would hoped and overall feel that the place needs an upgrade. There weren’t any curtains for privacy on the beds in shared dorms. And the main area wasn’t very inviting to spend time in.
