I was greeted with warmth and cheerfulness. I didn't expect such kind care, and was happily surprised. The bathrooms were spotless, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Loved the large open doors onto the balcony. I would definitely stay there again.

From friendly staff to superb cleanliness, this hostel was the best on my 47 days trip in Portugal. Big public kitchen, big common room, big dining room, breakfast included, charming historical building/convent in an interesting neighborhood, all for an affordable price, i can go on and on and on and on. The city itself is the biggest beautiful surprise on the trip. Thank you friends.

really well located. nice view of the historic tannery zone ruins. the building is amazing, historic.
staff was really rude and have wrong info in booking.com. we chose a bedroom bc it had double bed and bathtub option. when I sent a msg asking for the option of the bathtub because it was my bday they just answered that the “twin rooms doesn’t have bathtub”. I tried to explain that I wanted a double bed bc we are a couple but I keep on receiving the same answer.
check in was amazingly “cold” for North Portugal. but other workers (cleaners etc) were super nice and warm.
check ins are REALLY late, idk why. that was super bad.
