Good hotel with good ambiance, love the bathroom concept, friendly staff.
I came from abroad expecting a warm welcome. there's one staff at the counter that should serve us but kind of ignored us -was busy with phone. thanks to the other lady that served us after finished with one customer. Please serve regardless who we are whenever there's a queue in front of the counter.

The room was lovely & huge - great bath tub as well. We loved our stay at The Majestic.
Nice breakfast buffet selection, and we enjoyed the gym facilities as well which were well equipped & provided free water which was appreciated.
Location-wise not much within walking distance - need to take a Grab car to get to shops / restaurants.

This is my 3rd stay with the Majestic Hotel. I still enjoyed every stay at this hotel. Although there was a little hiccup this round during the check-in, but their services never disappointed We were offered the colonial suite as an upgrade. We did not take the offer because we still prefer the room we booked. But we were blown away by their services for sure. The room is clean, and their room services are also very good too. We have no problem with their wifi connection. The water pressure is good enough for me.
Their breakfast buffet is always good because it has a wide spread of international and local food varieties.
The parking is a bit steep. But glad that with RM15/day we get to come in and out countless times.

The room ID, facilities, design of the environment, nice place to experience different staycation in english colonial style
Perhaps parking could be waived for guests, the water from bathtub did not flow down tru the drain not sure was it due to insufficient toilet floor drainage had to call 3x for staffs to come up and they couldn’t come on time due to high occupancy at that time but nevertheless their attitude was commendable and still trying to deliver their work sincerely with a smile

I love that there are many activities under one roof that can be done even on a rainy day.
I always enjoy my stay at The Majestic. This time around I was upgraded to the Colonial Suite. I believe they are committed to continuous improvement and therefore wouldn't hesitate to share my honest opinion for their betterment. For my dinner, the main course of the Colonial Sampler which was the Hainanese Chicken Chop was overdone - burnt at the edge and the chicken was dry. Would also appreciate if there is at least one gym machine that does leg muscles as mostly were focused on upper body (shoulders and back) workout. Kettlebells would be more practical than having the medicine balls with the not-so-helpful handle. Other than that, my stay was exceptional. Had an enjoyable time with my friends at the orchid gallery during hitea. And heads up to Melo for going out of his was to assist me around. Looking forward to my next staycation at The Majestic Hotel again some day.

The beddings were so so comfortable.
1. I was not really happy that the staffing were mostly foreigners. Its a Malaysian antique hotel . I was hoping for a more Malaysian experience. Most of the staffs were either Bangladeshi/ Filipinos. So certain questions asked were not fulfilled, due to lack of knowledge. The dining staffs were mostly Bangladeshis. Sigh.
2. CHECK IN IS MISERABLE. !!
For a 5 star hotel, you would expect a more easygoing experience. However it took us 1 hour !! There were 4 people at the front-desk. But nearly 10-15 mins per client. Please speed up your check in process. I had an infant with me. So that was really uncomfortable.
3. I stayed in the 12th floor all the way to the end. And the ceiling at the corridor was leaking. (I didn’t take any pics)
4. Below par facilities. Esp the swimming pool…
5. Spa was located in a different building which didn’t have internal access.So you had to use an umbrella if it was raining. How ignorant is the design ? At least have a shaded walkway if you don’t want to touch the Majestic Wing building.

The entire hotel including rooms, lobby, tea room and restaurants are kept too cold.

Beautiful 1930’s traditional feel.
Very large rooms, luxury feel, nice decor, piano bar and Afternoon Tea was lovely.
Whilst very large and beautifully decorated, the rooms are tired. Stains on carpet, poor grouting in bathrooms, stains on sofas.Pool area is really poor and not clean. Nowhere to have food or drinks by the pool. Also, a 35- 40 minute walk into the city centre.

The majestic is a beautiful colonial era hotel with lovely architecture and decor. It immediately makes you feel you’ve stepped back in time. There’s a good selection for breakfast both European and Asian choices. The hotel is very close to the main station making it very convenient for central KL. The hotel also offers a free mini bus service to the station
The bedroom was lovely but the bed was too hard to be comfortable

Its an excellent facility, very conveniently located from KL Sentral station. The room was spacious and very immaculate. The swimming pool, gym were very good.
The vegetarian food options were very limited. Further, the Contango restaurant was closed for renovation, restricting the options available.

Rooms are large and comfortable. Great view of the train station and Merdeka tower. Bath tub is great.
No free parking for guests which is ridiculous. Only one bathrobe available in the room, also ridiculous. No privacy between the shower and toilet. The amenities are not 5 star at all, in fact it is the same products they use at Vistana. Bedsheets had black stains on them. They only gave two pods of coffee, anything extra was chargeable. Swimming pool was underwhelming, there's not much going on in this hotel. This feels like a Boutique hotel not a 5 star.

This is a beautiful hotel, the decor and ambience is straight out of the 1930s. The staff went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. Our room was very comfortable. Breakfast was amazing!

Staff are very welcoming and helpful with our inquires. Breakfast was really good with a wide range of dishes to choose from. There are lots it different restaurants within the hotel and the food was good (bit pricey but expected). 2 outdoor pools which were clean and well maintained (not the best views).
As it’s right next to a main road it is difficult to walk around to different places. The train station is across the road which is great otherwise you can get taxis to your different destinations.

The view from our level 15 room was great. Our bed was enormous and so comfortable! We appreciated the coffee machine for a quick early morning espresso. The hotel is right across the road from the historic railway station, from which we had an early departure. It's also an easy 20 minute walk to Central Market and Petaling Street restaurants. The Botanical Gardens, Islamic Art Museum and other attractions are even closer.
Check-in procedure needed some streamlining! We had to wait well over 2 hours before we had room access despite booking several weeks in advance. Our luggage was mislaid between reception and the room and was not labelled for easy location. As genius level 3 guests a breakfast was included and this was clearly indicated at the time of booking, yet the hotel staff had no record of this. We had an early departure so negotiating over an included breakfast was not a good way to wrap up our stay.

Booked the junior suite. Room was spacious and befitting of the hotel name.
Something terribly wrong with their call centre. Whenever we called to request or ask for something, the message is not relayed and we have to call multiple times to check and even go down to the main desk.
Waited 2 hours for our luggage to be sent to our room just upon check in on the first day, and the call centre had to ask us where we left our luggage when we called for the third time.
They also forgot to make our room when we requested to do so on the 2nd day. I called the concierge just before leaving the room for the day at 3pm. The staff acknowledged and assured that the room will be cleaned.
Returned back at 11pm hoping to rest after a long day to find the room in the exact state we left it in. Photo attached is when we came back at 11pm — my wife and 2 month old daughter had to sit at the lobby while waiting for the room to be made.
They did offer a complimentary breakfast the next day.
