Wonderful stay – the pool access rooms and spa were highlights
We booked two rooms with direct pool access, and that was absolutely fantastic. Being able to step straight from the room into the pool made the stay feel very special.
You can also order a floating breakfast in the pool. We paid around $30 for four breakfasts, and it was a lovely experience.
A complimentary 30-minute massage was included, which was excellent. We enjoyed it so much that we later booked additional spa treatments and massages at the hotel, and that was definitely the right decision. We also tried massages in Ubud town afterwards, and the quality was nowhere near as good. The hotel massage was much better.
The food at the hotel was excellent as well. We also went for the complimentary afternoon tea, with tea and snacks, and really enjoyed it.
Its quite far away from Ubud centre but there was a free shuttle and it helped.
The housekeeping team works incredibly hard and keeps everything very clean and comfortable. They really deserve appreciation — definitely leave them a tip.
Overall, we had a wonderful stay at The Garcia Ubud Hotel & Resort and would happily return.

Very good amenities.
The rooms were not noise canceling so you could hear the other rooms quite clearly.
