The hot pools!

The hot pools intertwined with nature are something I’ve not experienced before, even after 9 years in Japan.
The accommodation is a bit soulless. Staff were a bit aloof.

The spa was incredible, the bartender was friendly, drinks were great. The rooms were a little more rustic than we expected, some beds did not have mosquito nets, no AC.
We tried to get breakfast our first morning and were told we would've needed to reserve it the day before. We asked when they opened and they told us whenever you need breakfast, so we asked if we could reserve breakfast for quite early the next morning before we left town. We got up and there was no breakfast, no staff to be found, the building still shuttered for the night, quite a shame as we had to scramble to find breakfast before our ferry now and weren't able to buy any souvenirs on our way out either
