Basic room but clean and comfortable bed. TV worked, tea and coffee facilities provided.
Some basic maintenance was required, for example the shower overflowed as the waste pipe was blocked. I unblocked the waste myself so we culd use the shower. The toilet flush needs adjusting as does the automatic door closer to the bedroom.
The room was a bit noisey as the pub garden was outside the bedroom window and there were drunk people making a noise until well after midnight.

Good lay out, had a lovely home from home feel about it. Staff were great. Close to the town centre, walking distance to the racecourse.
Just a few more utensils in the kitchen wouldn’t go a miss, a toaster. There’s a nice little induction hob, but there were no pans! A bottle opener, teaspoons, knives, tea towels, dish cloth etc… had to share a cup if we wanted a coffee. A few cushions on the sofa, a new shower head, just little things!
It’s also Very loud ! We were warned before booking and also when we got there.
Doesn’t normally bother us, but this was very loud, not so much the music, there’s a little smoking shelter right outside the bedroom window. Even with windows closed, you could hear every conversation. If that area wasn’t there, there would be no issue with noise levels.

cleanliness, comfy bed, nice welcome
kitchen equipment, there was only a microwave and basic crockery and cutlery. There was a fridge but there was a bag of frozen veg jammed into the freezer compartment. Would be better if things like washing up liquid, dishcloth and tea towel were provided. Shower pressure could be better, toilet seat needed fixing as it wasn't secure. Couldn't have the TV and heating on at the same time as insufficient sockets.
