Location for where I wanted to be was great.
Good to have on site breakfast and
Evening meal for a single person staying so I did not have to leave the place
Room was large enough with some gorgeous antique furniture and bed comfy.
Food for evening meal in the pub was really nice and a great choice.
Breakfast was nice but limited, you couldn’t have cooked ( which was only 1 of each item) and then maybe say yoghurt, or granola or cereal. There was no fresh fruit on offer. I had tea but not offered orange juice or anything else.
In the room there was a new style kettle with water filter, but it would not fit under the tap to fill it up, had to use a glass!

The George Hotel was ideally located for us. It was good that the hotel has a bar and serves evening meals, food was good and all the staff were friendly and excellent
