Great location for walking the Peddars Way, friendly and helpful staff, good shower. The evening meal was fine and good value.
The breakfast was better than expected.
Communication before our stay was hard - emails to both email addresses were returned as undeliverable. Our evening meal booking hadn't been noted and we'd been told two very different things about breakfast.
Together with a number of poor reviews this meant we had low expectations!

The location was beautiful, such a pretty village. The room was basic but the staff were friendly and welcoming. The pub had a great atmosphere and it was an interesting old building.
The cafe next door was superb for breakfast luckily.
The bathroom was tatty & a bit grubby. The shower needed fixing. The food in the pub was very basic
