Superb

Great location for both the old course, beach and into the town. Scott was a lovely host, very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was also delicious, there was a nice selection of cereal, yoghurt and fruit as well as freshly made toast and a menu to choose hot food from which was all cooked to order. The room and bathroom were both spotless as well.

Close to uni, helpful staff, a bit tight

Location in walking distance from university buildings. We were given an iron and an ironing board on short notice.

Lovely guest house in a very central but quiet location

Lorimer house was minutes walk from the centre of town. Easy to find, lovely breakfasts. Scott could not have been any nicer

Would recommend this hotel highly as it has everything you would need for a short stay in St. Andrew

Large bedroom,large bathroom,ideal location for everything. Parking no problem and Scott was a very friendly host.

Very good

Comfortable room with extra touch like ear plugs to block out noise of seagulls. Good location close to west beach and short walk to centre. Easy self check in and out. I didn't meet the owners or any staff but they called in advance with instructions for check in and you could call if any problems.

I think the price for room only is too much but it's to be expected in St Andrews which is expensive.

The Lorimer House is a wonderfully cozy, clean spot located close to everything in St Andrews!

Scott was super welcoming and helpful with any of my questions. The location is perfect. It was a quick walk to the center of town, as well as the golf course and beach.

Helpful staff, good rooms and a central location made for a great stay.

Scott was very helpful in making sure the stay went off smoothly. The property is located very close to the beach, golf courses and middle of town which means it works no matter what you are looking to do in St Andrews.

Lived in St.Andrews for 17 years though moved away 21 years ago so knew location would be perfect.

Didn’t select breakfast. Room clean, spacious and modern. Plenty of sockets for devices. Excellent location, plenty of storage space, comfy bed, strong WiFi and good selection of TV channels. Friendly staff and good hangers in wardrobe 😁

Found shower a bit fiddly until I worked it out (probably me 🤪) and it was a bit annoying that you had to get up to turn on the bedside lights on but very minor and enjoyed my stay and room very much.

Perfect could not ask for anything better.

All aspects of the stay was great. location, breakfast rooms where perfect for our stay. Scott was super help full and very knowledge of St Andrews and surrounding areas. I dont think there is anything Scott does not know about golf and local amenities.
