About this house rental
Wake up to a beautiful view from this A-frame home built by our family. Unpack and unwind! Spend the day hiking(or snow shoeing) the property(60 acres), go into town for a great meal and entertainment and finish the day by the firepit roasting s'mores. The sunset is absolutely breathtaking (visible from inside or outside). This house is our retreat and we invite you to enjoy the calmness of the area and to Slow Down. Unplug in the Berkshires as we so enjoy doing. Tons of activities in every season to enjoy in the Berkshires! Close to various attractions: Museums, Ski resorts(Bosquet, Jiminy Peak, etc), Notchview For Cross Country skiing or snow shoeing, Ashmere Lake for kayaking, countless parks/reserves, Farmers Markets, Wineries, Breweries, Orchards, Shopping, Concert Venues, etc all within a short drive. We have two pairs of adult snow shoes and a sled to share! Ping pong table and corn hole too! Pots, pans, knives, cutlery, slow cooker, Panini maker, toaster, Keurig and Dutch oven included. Wood is supplied for the firepit, as well as adirondack chairs to sit. A gas grill is on the deck, and propane is provided. Games and puzzles are also available for your use. Linens(sheets, towels and blankets) included in each bedroom as well. Laundry and cleaning included. 4 WD VEHICLE highly recommended during winter & rainy seasons! NO PETS ALLOWED.

This cabin was exactly what we were looking for in a winter getaway. Quiet, secluded setting. Huge windows to enjoy the outdoors. Proximity to hiking. We even had the kids sledding next to the driveway!!
It has great sleeping arrangements for kids, and the upstairs room with the 2 twins and queen was pretty well insulated, sound wise, from the rest of the house. Note the dining space is on the second floor, so trips up stairs from the kitchen are required. Kitchen has everything we needed to make meals. Would definitely stay again!

My family really enjoyed our weekend in the cabin! We had a family get together in Worthingon and made a weekend out of it. Alison was easy to communicate with and very responsive. I would highly recommend staying here!

For my group it was perfect location.Well appointed and very comfortable. Deck was great for evening dinner and drinks. 1 overlook on my part was no TV. It was disappointing because it was Fedx cup second round major golf tournament. Overall was perfect for us .

Our family had a wedding in nearby Worthington and needed a place for 8. House was great, plenty of space and equipped well for us to cook and relax in between the various events. Nice view and very relaxing, quiet spot.

Location was perfect balance between feeling remote yet still being close to civilization. Cabin was very clean and well-equipped and was very warm and comfortable. Owner was responsive and very helpful. Overall we had a great time and would love to go back!

We had a BIG family reunion on Thanksgiving this year and needed extra sleeping space near our family home. This fit the bill!! I highly recommend this home for anyone looking for a beautiful retreat.

Very clean and as described. The cabin had everything my family and I needed for an enjoyable fall weekend in the Berkshires. Great views from the living room, dining room, and wrap-around deck. Kitchen was very well-equipped for cooking (which we did nightly). The location of this cabin is a bit off the beaten path, so we did need to drive a decent ways to get to grocery stores, restaurants, family activities, etc. Otherwise, highly recommended, and would definitely stay at this property again!

It's a beautiful property in a great location! It comfortably accommodated 2 families with 4 young kids all under the age of 6. We loved the deck (because of the huge windows we were able to sip wine and enjoy the sunset while keeping an eye on the kids happily playing the living room) and loved exploring the area all around. The place was great and we would HIGHLY recommend :).

Property exactly as described. Clean and comfortable and off the beaten path. Nice quiet atmosphere. Brought a tv and digital antenna with us which worked great. Overall a great location and a beautiful house.

Spent the weekend hiking in the Berkshires. This house was the perfect place to stay at the end of the day. Spacious. Clean. Beautiful location. Well stocked. More than highly recommend.

It's a very clean & comfortable cabin with an amazing view. We enjoyed sitting on the deck watching & listening to the wildlife. Just know that the roads are very bumpy & some are dirt so in wet seasons that could be a challenge. You're also pretty remote but Walmart & grocery stores are about a half hour away. All in all we had a great time & even saw a moose & a bear! (Not on the property, while we driving around.)

Great proper
This place is a little bit out in the woods, but we loved it. Lots of room, comfortable, beautiful deck, 30-35 min to Beckett, Lee, Lenox or Stockbridge. Communication with owners always clear and responsive. Would definitely stay again!

The house was perfect for us, and we had a family reunion there. We loved the natural setting. The roads were quite rough but we were able to navigate without difficulty. The house was well supplied with everything we needed.

Gorgeous spot for a getaway
We had a great long weekend getaway at this house, with plenty of room for two families to meet up (the 4 kids all enjoyed rooming together upstairs). Great views, and a well appointed home with all the tools and equipment you need. It's a fairly long drive to a grocery store, so I'd recommend stocking up before arriving.

So,she was able to watch some of her shows.My husband and I sat on the wrap around deck mostly having our coffee or watching the wonderful night sky full of stars!The house was very well stocked with all kinds of spices,coffee pods,condiments, if you needed them,too many to mention!The beds were comfy,and sheets and blankets soft.We liked to use the upstairs shower,which was easy to get in and out of.We also enjoyed playing corn hole and ping pong.The only thing that,I would be complaining about,would be,most of our time there was windy,so,we did not enjoy the nice firepit.All in all,it was definitely a quiet vacation,just sitting in the living room and taking in all the beauty of nature.So glad we were able to find this serenity!

Beautiful Home in the Forest
This beautiful home was clean, well appointed, well stocked, and spacious. Although there wasn’t any snow for XC skiing and snowshoeing, we still enjoyed our vacation, mostly because the house was so great. We played Ping-Pong and corn hole, cooked our own meals, played board games, and roasted marshmallows over the fire pit. The kids loved having the loft (large bedroom and game room/dining room) all to themselves. Allison responded promptly to all messages, and a snowplow even arrived early in the morning when it finally snowed!

The property was "as advertised" with the exception of the owners not mentioning that the neighbor does not like people hunting in the area. He made that VERY clear to one of the guests. This was not an issue for us as we hunt public land 20 mins away. We did have to sign paperwork with the property owner after the neighbor called them stating we would not hunt their property, but this wasn't an issue for us. Overall, very pleased with the property but I hope the owners will add "no hunting" to their property description in order to not have future last minute issues.

The property was absolutely amazing,spotlessly clean,so well stocked we were Very pleasantly surprised. Wonderful place for a getaway, peaceful lovely location. Everything about this getaway was easy thanks to the homeowners. Highly highly recommend !!!!

A Secluded wonderful retreat
this is a terrific place to stay. We were lucky to have stayed during the first snowstorm this year. It was a bit rough going down the hill in my Sedan. Very nerve wrecking but it was just so beautiful and clean, pristine is the word that comes to mind. The house is a nice size with a very enjoyable living room the way living rooms should be. Family gathering place. The eating area upstairs/game area is a bit exhausting after awhile. Serving and bringing stuff up and down is naturally tiring but you can always choose to eat by the kitchen counter too. I didn't mind the workout. Plus the views. This house has the best views. Giant glass windows just made it perfect! I would definitely stay again and likely in the Spring. It is a bit far from the main Berkshires hub especially in poorer driving conditions but we came to relax and unwind from the city and it delivered beyond that.
