We took a room with a sea view balcony, which had an amazing view over the coastline of Ischia. Our room was modestly-sized, and had everything we needed. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and were available whenever we needed anything. The hotel is located a short way away from the town centre/port, but its easy to reach with the bus service which can be taken directly outside the hotel, you can also walk the beautiful scenic route. Breakfast was lovely, with coffee made to order by the couteous staff. The hotel has a great terrace bar and pool with amazing views. Great Aperol spritz!
The bus was not as regular as we'd have liked, however that's not really the fault of the hotel. They are more than happy to help with a transfer etc. This is my only (somewhat) negative point.

The staff are AMAZING! So welcoming and friendly. The location is brilliant too, opposite the Gardenia Mare beach club (highly recommended) and on the 182/183 bus route into Ischia Ponte, a lovely little town not to be missed The view of the castle from the hotel bar is captivating and a fabulous spot to enjoy an evening drink. A 10 minute walk away, at the road junction is the L'antico Borgo restaurant (Google may show it as Il Giardino). The pizza was so tasty and the warm welcome from the waiter made us feel like we were one of the locals! We loved our stay so much, we are planning to come back!
Please add a full length mirror in the room! The only mirror is in the bathroom. In-room coffee facilities would also be lovely.

Stunning views, nice swimming pool, great to have a drink on the terrace in the evening and watch the night sky. The staff are welcoming and helpful.
The location wasn't great for us - we waited 35 min for a bus to get there, just 1 bus passes the hotel every hour and it was too far to walk in the hot sun. The only other option is pay 20 euro for a taxi every time :( They charge 1.50 for water (no place to fill up your water bottle), and there is no shop nearby to get normal-priced water. They also wanted to charge us to leave our bags for a few hours on check out (what hotel does that!? we refused!). Our room had a second bed which had no top sheet, and we got many mosquito bites there. The wardrobe/drawers smelled like they hadn't been used in months. The A/C unit didn't work very well (only seemed to have an on/off switch and we needed a member of staff to turn it on)... the breakfast was 12 euro and the only thing that was edible was the croissants and yogurt. Just too many inconveniences for us!
