About this apartment rental
This very charming apartment is located on rue de Portefoin (3rd district), in a XIX Century building, few steps away from the Square du Temple, the trendy shops of rue de Bretagne and the Market of the Red Children (Le Marché des Enfants Rouge), the oldest food market in Paris. You can also take a stroll to Picasso Museum, the Cirque d'hiver, the Place des Vosges, the Opera Bastille or to the Centre Georges Pompidou.
This 50 square meters very elegant apartment is at the 5th floor with lift. It can accomodate up to 4 persons. It has been completely refurbished by an architect. It consist of an entry, a separate kitchen, a living room, a bedroom and a bathroom.
The bedroom has a king size bed, a large cupboard and minor furnishings. The living room offers a dining area with a table for 4 persons, and a sitting area with a double sofa bed convertible 2 persons.
The bathroom offers a wide shower cabin, washbasin, WC and bidet. Hair dryer & towels are provided.
The kitchen is fully equipped with electric ceramic contact grills, microwave, traditional oven, fridge, freezer sink, dishwasher, clothes washing machine.
The apartment provides also High Speed Internet WIFI access and cable TV, free telephone limited to fixes phones for the European Union, USA and Canada.

The property is wonderfully located in the Marais and in a very charming building, with gorgeous windows and a comfortable main bed and useful kitchen, well stocked with utensils, coffee machine, etc. The check-in process was a little protracted but once we were in it was a straightforward stay. We were there over a particularly warm weekend in May and were pleased with how cool the property stayed, and enjoyed the balcony in the lovely balmy evenings. It has everything you need for a short stay in Paris and we don't hesitate to recommend it.

It was a fantastic location! We loved the balcony but had some challenges with checking in-Orlande was wonderful as our check-in host but it seemed there were some problems around timing and communication with the cleaning staff so our apartment wasn’t ready when it was supposed to be.

This flat has enough good things about it to recommend a stay here. It’s well located in a less touristy part of Paris, walkable to many sites and restaurants. The place is clean and has some helpful kitchen items supplied. Communication and check in were difficult, though. This is rented through an agency not a homeowner and the agency team communicates separately with sometimes missing key information. Check in states it is at 1400 but when we arrived at 1500 we were told things weren’t ready and that 1400 is when they start cleaning the place. There isn’t a check in manual or written information so the team member that met me showed things to me with in gestures and a translator app. It was pretty confusing and frustrating after a long overnight with no sleep. Having things explained in Multiple languages on the app or paper would be very helpful. Also, if you are planning on using the fold out couch be advised that it is quite old, creaky and possibly broken making for a difficult night’s sleep. All in all the flat would be a nice place for one or two people for a short stay.
