Quiet location with Mountain View’s. Beautifully decorated. Good continental breakfast with lots of choice. Host made us feel very welcome and was full of knowledge of the local area.

It was a great place to stay and the host was excellent and informative. The rural location allows easy access to the Morne mountains and it is close to Killkeel village with pub and other eating places and only 30 mins on a very senic drive to Newcastle or Rostrevor for more choices. The room we had was exceptional with a large bedroom and separate lounge with great views

What a gem of a find! This is an exceptional property to stay in. It was everything we could have wished for:the location was perfect for our needs;the views were beautiful;our suite offered us the opportunity to relax after a long, busy day and was spotless. Gareth and Emma were the perfect hosts, and from the moment we arrived for our eight day stay, we were made to feel welcome. The hosts had a thorough knowledge of the area, which was really useful. Breakfast was perfect for us. Nothing was too much trouble. The homemade banana bread and muffins were delicious and a very welcome addition to what was on offer. We would not hesitate to return or recommend Mourne Country House for the perfect place to stay whilst exploring this beautiful part of Northern Ireland.
