John was a fantastic host with a wonderful sense of humour. Had the best sleep of our three week trip in the peaceful countryside. Well worth the short drive off our path. Check it out, you won’t be disappointed!

What a fanstic stay brillant host john you are the most welcoming host/manager we have ever met spent 3 days in Banoge house Breakfast was unreal and facilities cant be faulted me and catherine will be back in summer with friends thank you so much for making are valentines weekend so special

All the previous comments about John are totally valid. He is great host and cooks a wonderful breakfast. Paraphrasing his own words, if you want a Premier Inn this is not the place for you, however if you want to stay in a well preserved, classically decorated and interesting building stay here.
