About this house rental
Situated in Durango, this lovely house for $405 per night is a great option for your next break. **Book Today for Only $300 Down at the Time of Booking *** In late 2023 the deck was expanded and a hot tub added - Updated professional photos coming soon. Our 2,500 square foot residence was built in 2018 and features 4 bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms and is located just 3 miles from downtown Durango and 27 miles (30 minutes) from Purgatory Ski Resort. This home is in one of the nicest residential settings in the Durango area and features amazing views to the north over the Animas Valley - yet is just minutes from downtown Durango. At an elevation of 7,000 feet, enjoy an alpine setting with exceptional views, while being close to all of the incredible amenities and recreation you come to Durango to experience. The house features central AC and high end finishes you would expect in a brand new custom home while the generously equipped gourmet kitchen features gas stove, granite countertops and stainless steel appliances. Please note that the 4th bedroom is located over the garage and is access via a separate entrance. AC was added to this bedroom in October 2023. One parking spot is available in the garage (owner keep their car in the other space). There is also room to park two more cars in the driveway. Bed Configuration: Master - King (TV) Main Level 2nd - Queen (TV) Main Level 3rd - Queen (TV) Main Level 4th - Queen and single Blow up mattress with pump - (Located over the garage via a separate entrance). This home is pet friendly! We allow a maximum of 2 dogs max and the pet fee is $40/day (for a max $250 per stay). Book at least a week and a 10% discount is automatically applied (Excludes Christmas/New Years). Stay with us and we offer DISCOUNTS on both summer (white water rafting, horseback riding etc.) and winter (ski/snowboard rentals, sleigh rides, snowmobile tours etc.) activities. Cancellation Policy: A non-refundable payment of $300 is required at the time of booking. This $300 payment is applied toward the total amount due and is only refundable within 72 hours of the time of the booking is made. If your arrival date is within 30 days of booking, payment in full is required at the time of booking. Cancellations or changes to stay dates, including changes that result in a shortened stay, are not permitted within 30 days of arrival, and any such changes will result in a penalty. Cancellations or changes that are made within thirty (30) days of the arrival date, forfeit the entire reservation amount while cancellations made more than thirty (30) days in advance of your arrival only forfeit the $300 payment made at the time of booking. For reservations that are at least thirty (30) nights, the cancellation policy above increases to sixty (60) days prior to the arrival date. We do offer travel insurance. Super clean house. The layout is awesome for older kids as there's some separation between the master and other bedrooms. Home is super clean and everything you need is available. Short drive to downtown. We loved it.

The property was delightful. It is close to town but has a rural feel. The view of the mountains was quite lovely.
The house was spacious. The 9 of is never felt crowded. The kitchen is well supplied.Each bedroom has a full bath even the room over the garage. The room over the garage exceeded my expectations. It was as comfortable as the main house. The propery managers were very helpful and responsive.
When we walked in we found a lighted Christmas tree and decorations. It created a feeling of warmth and home. We all enjoyed this home immensely. We expect to be back.

This is an incredible home and by far one of the nicest vacation rental experiences I have had. The property is pristine with plenty of entertaining space and it is ideal having an en-suite bathroom for each bedroom. We also valued the deck area and taking in the gorgeous views. I would stay here again without a doubt in the future. Also the property management team was helpful and very attentive.

This is a gorgeous home as described on the website. Plenty of room (although it was just my two sisters and I). We each had our own bedroom/bathroom and having the TV in each bedroom was a plus. We had beautiful weather during our stay and did sightseeing during the day and hung out at night playing games. The back deck had beautiful views. Modern appliances and plenty of supplies to get you started. The rental agency was very attentive and offered their assistance if we needed it. Had a great time on our annual “Sisters’ Trip”.

Wow! Very beautiful view and decorated so nicely. We loved that every room had its own bathroom. The cleaning crew did such a wonderful job. This was 10 minutes from Durango RR and very convenient. We enjoyed the convenience of having a grill too. Lastly we all slept well in the comfortable beds.

This rental was awesome. It was the the most spotless vacation house I’ve ever rented and only a few miles from town which was extremely convenient. Kitchen was great with so many supplies that were in excellent shape. Beds were very comfortable and each bedroom has its own bathroom. I was concerned that the bedroom over the garage was not air conditioned but it did work out because the nights were cool enough that it was comfortable for sleeping. And the view of the mountains from the living area and porch was unbelievable! Also the management company was very responsive and helpful. We tried many of the local restaurants- especially enjoyed Michel’s Corner Crepes and James Ranch. Good fishing nearby - also rode the Durango to Silverton Railroad which was awesome. Also rode bikes on the river trail and went to the hot springs nearby. I honestly can’t say one negative thing and would definitely rent again if ever back in the area! Thanks!

An EXCELLENT, GORGEOUS place to stay. Basically 10 minutes from everything. Very responsive management company. We were initially worried that the 4th BR would be too hot because it was uncomfortable when we first arrived (temps were hitting ~90F). But once it cooled down at night, it stayed a comfortable temperature if you didn't open the windows during the day.

We came exploring Colorado. Great please to stay. We really enjoyed all the space. We were not able to utilize the upstairs bedroom /bathroom as there is no air. The VRBO advertising should be cleared on that.

This house is in a great location for Durango. Convenient to town or going north on 550. The kitchen was well equipped, beds were very comfy, view from deck was awesome! Only one issue...the 4th bedroom above the garage was so hot, even w/fans, that we could not use it. This house came with air conditioning but not the garage apartment. We knew that when we rented the house. Wanted readers of this review to know in the heat of the summer there are only 3 bedrooms. Management team was awesome and always responded when we needed them. I would rent this house again!

Several couples of old friends found this to be the perfect place to stay in Durango. Easy to find but still secluded we were on top of the area. Parking for our two cars was ample but May not be for more vehicles. The house provided great space for all and we had several memorable meals made in the beautiful kitchen which was spacious enough for several cooks. It was great to have nice grill to use and all appliances were clean and in good working order. Our only challenge was working the main tv but with so much to see and do in the area it was not important. The entry instructions were detailed and clear and the management company responded quickly to the one question we expressed. We intend to bring other friends who visit Colorado there in the future.

It’s rare that I think a listing’s pictures undersell a property - but this is one of those times. This place is perfect. What others have said about the upstairs “apartment” are true in that in the summer it’s too hot, but we had plenty of room in the main house for 4 adults and 3 kids. The back patio and that view are spectacular.

We were two couples and a dog. Spacious home, accommodates eight, ideal for six. Each room en suite. Lovely views from the porch, which only accommodated four. Beautifully furnished and equipped. Check-in by code. Had no need nor interaction with management during our stay. Since I am disabled, this was a wonderful find - all one floor in the mountains (we did not use the fourth bedroom located above the garage). This house accommodate eight, we had 4; 6 would be ideal. Nevertheless, I would rent this house again. It was in the mountains a short drive from town. Great location.

This home was fabulous! It was very clean very spacious, had beautiful views, well supplied kitchen, very close to town and yet private. The ease of checking in was great and all the instructions were very plain and understandable. Would absolutely stay here again if we happen to be in the Durango area. Excellent accommodations, quibbles being the bedroom above garage was warm during the day & took awhile to cool down at night. The lock was temperamental. The appliances es were professional grade. The back porch was a great place to relax after a day hiking.
