Nice room, friendly staff, good breakfast, luxury feeling.
During our stay, due to trouble with their POS system, we weren’t able to pay by card, only cash.

The hotel is beuatiful with a lovely garden area. Unfortunatley, the restaurant was closed during our stay (we knew in advance) but we did get breakfast included with the room. Very friendly staff who helped us with every request and made sure our stay was very comfortable.
The parking area is very small and does not offer enough space for all the guests. The hotel does not accept credit cards (we knew in advance), so guests need to know to bring cash

The room is very classy: high-end materials and must be the best, most beautiful, in Permet.
For an hotel that likes to position itself as the top end accommodation in town, there is room for improvement:
- upon arrival we were informed the restaurant was closed and payment by card was not possible due to a technical malfunction. In the morning this technical malfunction wasn’t solved;
- drinks couldn’t be added to the room because they told it were separate companies? You can’t make this up folks;
- the lobby is a desk with a laptop in what is supposed to be the lounge: it is out place there. You would expect a more fitting reception;
- breakfast is served at the table instead of a buffet.This could be very nice, but not here: the menu is very limited and it took long to arrive at the table;
- when we arrived we saw a guest having problems to find the right way back to the Main Street. The next day we had the same problem: It’s impossible to get out of the maze of the old town where the hotel is situated without ignoring a one-way street sign. Staff should inform the guest about this!
- my wife was sent out of the garden in the morning because staff wanted to mow the grass and water the area! Unbelievable: wait until 11 when all the guest are gone!
