Amazing stay with amazing views and such helpful and friendly staff

Location amazing. Views amazing. Staff very friendly And very helpful.

No alcohol sold on premises. Breakfast was not great.

We wanted a short break to relax and Humdani is the perfect place. It was hard to leave.

We took our own breakfast, but the chef still surprised us with a beautiful cupcake each. The game drive with Dewald was a treat. Playing with the cubs fun. We liked the absolute silence. The beautiful infinity pool. The extreme friendliness of all the staf. Barbara and her team welcoming us with a warm cloth to wipe our hands and a soft drink. We loved the (shared) kitchen with cutlery and a fridge and we loved the fire in the boma in front of our room when we returned from dinner. Humdani does not have a liquor license, but guests are welcome to bring their own.

It was lovely playing with the cubs, but I feel R350.00 per person is a bit steep.

The location and views are breath taking, the staff needs to be more confident the chef was great ! There was effort put

The bed swing was a highlight

The lion cub interaction was not professional, it was just a by the way set up

a fair stay at a safari

it is secluded from everything. great for when you want to be off grid

there were spiders and spider webs almost in every corner of the room.

Preposal vacation

The food was fantastic and staff was very friendly and very helpfull. The location and view of the lodge is out of this world. Will definitly return in the future.

The room me and my wife stayed in had a bed with a realy hard matress.

gret potential..... but thats where it ends

Lodge is badly understaffed. Very poor service (except for Steve - cook) A long list of failures spoilt the experience from the moment we arrived.

Very poor

The food was truly terrible. The wifi didn't get to our room, we didn't have hot water we could hear everything our neighbors were saying and doing. They claim to be 5 star luxury and that couldn't be further from the truth.

Bad

It was nothing like the website. No meals/ restuarant.No game vehicle. Self catering which was not disclosed on the website. No pool. Under renovation. No signage of how to get to or from the accommodation. If you going to promote a site make sure it has what is offered. Just very disappointed, looked so beautiful. Eventually did not bother to book in. Thank you.

Facilities exaggerated

Staff were polite but obviously the misinformation came from management

Facilities were exaggerated, Advertising didn't match the location/facilities at all: -There was no food or menus available (we were told to think of something to eat and the staff would go to JHB to collect) the dining hall and bar advertised on the website imply that there is food readily available -No game drive vehicle available as it was being repaired (we were told we could stand on the back of an open bakkie as our game drive - we've attached a photo of the bakkie) *it was advertised that they "had a selection of well equipped and well maintained game viewing vehicles" on the website -Facilities were still under construction. -There was no bar or restaurant *This was advertised as a dining hall and cocktail bar but the staff said these facilities were not available -No directions or front gate identification, a call to the owners are required and staff have to come meet you -Once on property there is no signage on which dirt roads to take to get to rooms -A 4x4 IS required to get to the accommodation (which isn't mentioned on their site) -No parking available (we parked in the bush) - Despite us having booked prior to our arrival, none of the rooms were ready for guests (no toilet paper or soap)
