Breakfast was delicious. The chef explained what the breakfast menu was . Breakfast is made only when the guest tell the chef what they would like to eat . Tea was delicious too which was served with a few biscuits.

What a lovely old-style Bengali hotel, in a great part of town. The boys on the desk were really helpful with breakfasts, taxis and other stuff. Friendly and accommodating. The room was large and comfy, with towels and toiletries, books and paintings. We loved our stay in Cal, what a great place to see this city from. Oh, the shower was the best supply of hot water we’ve had in India in three weeks!!
Shower curtain needs bleaching. Electrics in the bathroom (!!) need placing outside the wet room (but then that is India for you!) and general updating. But overall this was a great room at this budget and well worth it… thanks Blue Chip!
