Would not stay again

The location is good. But consider that if you are with car the parking is about 6min walk and 18€ per night. The room was clean.

There was absolutely no staff in the hotel during our stay, only during reception and we had to call 20 min prior to let them know we were arriving. There was no breakfast included, nor any breakfast in the hotel, no information was given. The heating system was off. The shower drain system was not big enough for the water flow meaning that the toilet flooded during showers (No warning given by staff upon our arrival). No information regarding anything about the hotel was given, whatsoever. Definitely not a 4 star hotel experience, specially for the price.

Wonderful respite

Spacious, quiet, well supplied and nice amenities. Loved the view from the French doors.

I like all of it. People should be aware that it’s not staffed like a hotel, and should arrange to check in with management!

Increíble que tenga 4 estrellas

No había NADIE de personal en el hotel. Si wue nos hicieron la habitación cuando no estábamos, pero en todo el fin de semana NO VIMOS a NADIE, para entrar tuve que llamar a un móvil que ponía en un cartel y me indicaron que llave (tarjeta) estaba detrás de una puerta. La manera de hacer la cama era INCREIBLE, muy mal

Good value for money and very peaceful stay in an unexpected HI Tech Highlander era building!

This is an old building redone totally inside and i can see that someone has put a lot of money and effort in rebuilding the location with details better than most modern museums. In terms of facilities - state of the art in the sense that has Electric beds (like the hospital one with the remote control), wireless and up to date TV, climate control where can be a bit fiddly having a central panel for TV, sound, Temperature, lighting, etc. I had a bathroom with toilet and shower and another one with jacuzzi. Location - good, across the bridge if you ever been there before. Despite having only few rooms and a single floor it does have a glass elevator, a beautiful Reception, etc. Ref: Location. - Very good! Within walking distance on all Points of Interest. About 1 min to the Moro Rey gardens - on the same street, 100 steps or less down the road. About 3-4 mins to the main bridge About 10 mins walk to the main shopping road, the park and the Torro arena. (Museum). Overall, nice host despite not being on site on check-in (we've had no access card) or on check-out. Nice people!

There is not possibility of a breakfast onsite because there is no restaurant on the premises. There is no parking near by either and you can take a chance if trying to park on the narrow streets at your own risk and in my case the local residents weren't very happy nor very friendly either. Room was good however very soft mattresses for my taste and starting the AC a bit painful due having to program the timer / each day / time if you want A/C. This probably has to do with my lack of tech skills hence i don't want to blame them. However, for a much better return, the owners should have invested this kind of money in Malaga where I have paid almost 3 times the price for an "ikea type" room (Deluxe!!) at ICON Malabar a day before.

Everything! The welcome on arrival , the friendliness of the receptionist, the gentleman from the restaurant and the housekeeping lady, all of whom were extremely pleasant and helpful. The facilities were amazing and the location excellent in the historic centre and close by to the new area as well.

In all honesty, nothing at all.

Superb

The hosts were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The room ( Ciné ) was stunning. A spa bath, extra tv, independent controls on both halves of the bed. Location is good .

GPS did not work here, it was exceptionally difficult to drive to, we were lost and frustrated. Parking is quite distant, and not free.

The lack of service by having no staff felt a little strange.

Location was the best thing about hotel.

There was no front desk or staff to ask questions. Phone number was on the front door. If you did not have a key to get in the door you needed to call a number to reach someone. If you had any problems with the room there was no one to help. The shower is too complicated.

More a motel than a hotel

location. room size

only three rooms in hotel. no reception. no parking (when I filtered WITH PARKING). mattress too soft. not clean. no door in shower (wet all floor). lights too complicated to turn off. refrigerator in other room. floor stained and dirty. loose hair on floor and window sills. etc

I think there are better choices and this place is more like an apartment stay, and certainly not a 4 star hotel.

good location

no information given at check-in regarding breakfast, which by the way isn’t until 9 am and is ordered off a menu so if you have plans before 10 am then don’t bother paying for it. There was a kettle in the room but only one instant coffee pack and 1 tea bag. Says they have a 24 hour front desk but no staff to be found after 5 pm. The room was freezing and had a control panel for lights etc but we could not get the heat to come on with it. Just a weird stay overall.

A great location- very much a sort yourself out set up! Fortunately we are used to travelling independently.

Location Cleanliness

We arrived and there was no one at the hotel. It was locked up. I tried phoning but answerphone. Eventually someone called back and arrived to let us check in. This was not ideal as we had not been given information about where to park and had to leave our car outside the hotel in a narrow area not meant for parking,until someone came. No communication re whether there was breakfast available or not - we think possibly there was as people eating outside - not sure if we had paid for breakfast or not, but didn’t have any as unaware until we were leaving! We were given a downstairs room which was set up as an accessible room - this meant the bathroom was really a wet room which was not ideal.

the location was perfect and room was great especially the jacuzzi

it’s only a minor negative but the hotel is still setting up so their were minor inconveniences and the electric wires and adapters in the room definitely need sorting out

Comfortable and well located in Ronda

The room is very spacious, clean and comfortable. There is a separated hydromassage tub which is nice. Bed is big and comfy. The historic building is very nicely renovated. Location is great.

Short Stay in Ronda

Hospitality from reception/staff was great. Hotel room was big with comfy beds. Breakfast was good start to the day. Location in old town very convenient to walk around.

Location in old town meant no parking allowed unless you live there. Instructions were unclear re. where to find parking. (There was a parking garage in the new town across the bridge...we just didn't know about it.) Grumpy neighbour next door - he was mad at us because we had parked in his space to drop off our luggage.

Hotel Ronda Nuevo, exceeded my expectations. It has an excellent location, cleanliness and staff treatment. It is a hotel to rest because it is very quiet. I really liked the breakfast because it had a wide variety of products. When I return to Ronda I will repeat in the same hotel. Thank you very much

More choice at breakfast. All the cereal was children focused but the clientele was all adult.

Excellent Stay

The room was very modern and clean. Very comfortable bed, beautiful prepared breakfast and very helpful staff. Late checkout at midday.

Wi-Fi signal strong but data slow and intermittent. Can park by hotel to unload but have to Park car 7 mins walk away.

Very satisfied and would definitely stay again.

Very comfortable, modern room in a great and quiet location in the heart of Ronda. We were fortunate to be able to reserve two nights at Ronda Nuevo on short notice after finding that our original booking in town had a problem with the heating. Very happy to have found a real gem.
