Create meals to remember in a spacious and fully equipped kitchen stocked with all upgraded appliances and a stunning granite topped center island. Situated toward the front of the house, a sitting area peeks into the kitchen from the deli window, a room perfect for reading or morning coffee! Your master bedroom suite awaits just off the kitchen where you can retreat in luxury. Don't worry about a rainy day; family movies are a breeze with the smart-enabled TV, Bose speakers, and DVD player. The kids can walk easily just half a mile to the Kure Beach Pier for some shopping and entertainment if they need a diversion. Ground Level: Five parking spaces available, parking on the grass is not allowed. Covered parking for one in the left side garage, extra storage, full size washer and dryer. Although it is not listed as an amenity, there is a vintage park grill that guests are free to use, clean at your own recognizance. Rental Policies: Arrival/Departure: Summer Check-ins (June-August) begin at 4pm and are guaranteed by 6pm Off Season Check-ins begin at 3pm and are guaranteed by 5pm Check Out is by 10 am. We adhere to this policy so please do not arrive early or plan to delay your departure. Electronic Entry House Rules: No events such as weddings, bachelor/bachelorette parties, sororities/fraternities No smoking You must be at least 25 to rent this unit. Pet Policy: No pets allowed. While this is not a pet friendly property, from time to time the owner of the property has a dog in the premises. Cancellation Policy: - Free cancellation within 48 hours of booking - After 48 hours of booking and more than 60 days out from arrival, a full refund will be processed less a $300 cancellation fee - After 48 hours of booking and within 60 days of arrival, there will be no refund processed unless the dates are re rented. If premises are re rented, a refund will be processed less a $300 cancellation fee. Things to do: Adventure awaits. If your flying in to stay at this home its difficult. There was nothing in this home, we enjoy showing up with beds made, amenities in kitchen, no paper products we had to shop for alot of things we enjoy cooking at home all together. The home needs some love. It needs to be painted, rug in living room to be replaced same with furniture. There was no beach towels or chairs. I rent twice a year in Kure Beach. And I have had great success not this time. I have to say the Rental Company should have told me all this while booking, because i would not have rented this home. I explained i needed a super clean home it was not. The Rental Company was quick to come when we had issues.

Anchored In was a great oceanfront beach house for our family vacation. Lots of room, fantastic deck for relaxing, well-equipped kitchen, and comfortable beds. Our only issue during the week was WiFi- related. The WiFi wasn’t working initially, but after contacting property management, it was resolved within 24 hours. We would rent this home again!

We loved the house, lots of room for everyone, loved the porch, so relaxing. Would rent it again for sure!! The only negative think was placing maintenance calls. Communication was poor and we could not understand each other. The dish washer dis not work very well and a part had to be ordered. Also the flies near the garage cans was really bad. We would bring some kind of spray next time

Perfect for a family reunion

Perfect for a family reunion

Beautiful, well-appointed property set up to host an extended family. We spent our time walking, playing and lounging on the quiet beach in front of the house, taking short walks to the Kure Beach proper, enjoying activities and restaurants in nearby Carolina Beach, and relaxing in a comfy chair on the large, shaded porches at the house. The kitchen is well-appointed, has plenty of dishes and everything you need to cook for a crew. We did have issues with a broken dishwasher and downstairs refrigerator, so we had to hand wash lots of dishes and shop for smaller batches than planned. Also recommend that you bring extra bath towels as the one issued per person is not sufficient. Despite these challenges, the house is perfect for an extended family gathering and we had a wonderful time! Be sure to get up early for gorgeous sunrise views or end your day watching Kure Beach pier or Carolina Beach fireworks - all from the convenience of your porch!!

Loved the well stocked kitchen however the cook top was advertised as 6 burner. One burner did not work and 2 others did not have correct heat when changed from high to low. Causing a part of a dinner to be ruined. Everything else about house and our stay was wonderful.

House was everything it advertised

Our week was perfect. House was beautiful and clean. I fell asleep every night listening to waves crash. The beach in front of house was sandy (not rocky) and quiet. We spent all day, every day on beach. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook great meals. Beds and bedrooms were comfortable and spacious. We had a fabulous time. Thank you. We will absolutely come back!

The house is spacious for the 9 of us. We loved waking to the sounds of the ocean each day. The outdoor porches are delightful with comfortable seating. The children enjoyed hunting lizards around the outdoor space. Great to have an outdoor shower! The beach is convenient, easy to run back to the house to grab something. Weather was exceptional this week.

We enjoyed our week at Kure. The house was great. The kitchen was well equipped with anything we needed. The large kitchen table that would allow all 9 of us to eat together (with some closeness) was wonderful. The beds were comfortable. The rented linens worked out great. The porch with adirondacks and rocking chairs was perfect to wait out the occasional rain shower. My only criticism, and it is small, is the lack of cable tv. What was provided was a very basic package with minimal channels; I didn’t count but probably less than 10. The renter is given the option to pay $22 for an upgraded package. I think that for the cost of renting a property for the week, a usable cable package should be included. That being said, I didn’t go to the beach to watch television so it wasn’t a concern for me. But is was for those who wanted to see a sporting event other than what espn was showing; watch a program other than TNT’s offering; or had no interest in the food network. We would certainly consider renting this property again. And the turtle nest right in front of the house was very neat, wish they would have hatched while we were there.
