This accommodations has a peaceful location on the island of Grinda in the Stockholm archipelago, only 30 minutes by ferry from Waxholm. Grinda Stugby & Sea Lodge consists of a cabin village and Sea Lodge is a boarding house with board and lodging.

The location. The peace. The getting back to nature. The chap who helped us with our cases, in his jeep.
I think it would helpful to give more indications to city people like me. Like, you fetch water from the tap, using the water containers provided. The shops will be shut out of season, so bring food. There are compost toilets. I can see it is in your brochure, which I picked up on the island. I think it is only on Booking.com that more such details could be given. Thank you though. It was a unique experience that I hope will stay with me for a long time.

I like that you can walk down to the sea to swim, directly from the cabin! (In addition to the other swim opportunities on Grinda!)
I know that it is in the end of the season borderline, but unclear which places were open for food and drink. Wärdshuset and the Cafe were open, but not Framfickan,

Traumhaft zauberhafter Ort! Man hat alles, wenn man möchte. Die Sealodge selbst ist einfach, aber das dazugehörige Restaurant ist toll. Ansonsten kann man auf das Hotel und die Restaurants am Hafen ausweichen
Die Matratzen gehören ausgewechselt… sie waren durchgelegen und es war deshalb nicht angenehm zu schlafen, weil man auf hart auf dem Holz lag.

Beautiful setting, nice island easy to access by ferry. Staff were generally friendly, bakery had a nice spread of rolls and pastries
Outdated cabins, very old and smelly. Top bunk bed broken (unsafe)
Nothing open early in the morning, the cafe only opens at 9am. Water activities at 10.
The shared outdoor toilets were really smelly.
Booking confirmation stated incorrect information where to get key. Lilla Längan closed, had to go to Sea lodge to purchase and collect towels and linen.
