Claudia solved my parking issue in a very creative and fast manner. The friendliness of the reception stuff was at the highest level. Overall pleasure of the stay exceeded my expectations.

Breakfast organization could slightly improve. The logistics for the late joiners was not optimal. Breakfast stuff can focus more on the guests with the motto "eat the meal together with the guest" to better understand their needs. They can actively ask if the guest needs anything or if everything is fine.

Very clean. Staff was extremely friendly, helpful and attentive. They went above and beyond to help other guests get to a wedding venue and then from there to the airport for an early flight. I can’t say enough good things about them. I highly recommend a stay at this wonderful hotel!

Difficult to drive a car in the narrow streets but the staff helped us and organized a parking for us.

If you’re looking for a superb hotel, this is truly it. The hotel is spotless clean, the rooms are refurbished, well-equipped and comfy. The breakfast is delicious and caters for all tastes. If you’re a coffee snob, enjoy Giuseppe’s (the owner) cappuccino. On a personal note, Giuseppe is a storyteller, an encyclopaedia and a perfect host. There is nothing he doesn’t know. He is extremely helpful, i.e. kindly booked our lunch in one of the most delicious local fish restaurants and he recommended the best cakes in town. He knows the local history and is a pleasure to talk to. In a sense, it felt that we came to Castellammare just to meet Giuseppe and his family!

Friendly staff and nice location, right in the city centre. Room was big and clean enough and have everything that needed.

I didn't realize that rooms on the ground floor are based basically on the street - you enter it directly from the street, there are no windows, only the front door that you need to keep closed due to noise and people walking. I didn't like it and it didn't make me feel safe. It was uncomfortable not to have a window to open and room was dark. When I went to breakfast 15min before closing there was almost nothing left. Place doesn't have it's own parking and it's difficult to find a spot.

I wish we could have stayed here longer! The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. We were able to store our luggage before and after check-in, which was wonderful. The breakfast was great, the room was quiet, clean, and equipped with everything we needed. 100% satisfied with our visit! :)

Bedroom was very spacious and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was fantastic and staff lovely! Although the reception was closed when we arrived, we were able to get the room and formalized the check in at a later moment.

Breakfast only started at 8:30, which caused that everyone went at the same time. Perhaps booking shifts or opening the breakfast earlier could avoid a busy canteen (?)

I loved the location. I loved the owners who were so nice and accommodating. The comfort of the rooms was inviting and cozy. They served a wonderful morning breakfast with a TV to watch the morning news to start the day. Overall, in general, this is a gem of a place with friendly, dedicated owners in a quiet but perfect area in the town. I will be returning to Castellammare next summer and I will definitely choose this place again if they have availability.

The walls are a little thin so you could easily hear the cars and people taking outside. The breakfast time could be expanded to an hour instead of a half hour.

The owner is super nice and kinds. He was prepared my breakfast for me at 7 am! And He was drove me to the bus station afterwards. Thank you again for you kindness.

The place is well maintained, cleaned and overall really beautiful, a little hidden gem. The receptionist was really welcoming and made sure we had a nice holiday!

Location, friendliness of staff

The room, the bed and the permanent noise (coming from something like water in a drain pipe in the wall) throughout the entire night which made sleeping impossible.

The little hotel was very good located in the city centre, not far from all the restaurants and a beautiful (stone) beach. We enjoyed our summer vacation (1 week) in Castellamare very much. The whole staff was very friendly and accomodating at all times. Especially with the difficult parking situation they helped us a lot! Castellamare is also a good starting point for several day trips within sicily, for example La Reserva dello Zingaro, Erice, Scopello, ... We would definitely recommend this hotel as the place to be in Sicily. Thank you very much again! Susanne & Lukas

Cool historic building with modern touches, perfect position in a walking distance for all u need, cordial staff, rooms and common areas very clean and easy communication with the staff.

Parking is a disaster in the high season, staff can hold a parking spot in front of the building if free, but first come first serve, otherwise you need to park 500 meters away; beds are new but not very comfy, same for the pillows. Missing the mosquito net in the windows rooms, definitely will be a plus.
