A unique and peaceful location. The room terrace offers a stunning view of Elounda Bay and Spinalonga Island. The hotel consists of six floors of modern stone buildings built into a steep hillside and connected by funiculars. All rooms have private pools and sea views. There are three large infinity pools and a 24-hour fitness center. The rooms are exceptionally spacious and very clean, with excellent bedding. The Greek buffet breakfast is outstanding, with the option to order hot dishes from the morning menu. The staff are very friendly and attentive to children. The hotel offers a free shuttle service to the nearest villages — a great convenience even when arriving by car.
The hotel’s private beach is pebbly, but since we knew this before arrival, it did not cause any additional issues. We visited the nearest beautiful sandy beaches instead. The dinner menu was rather limited and did not fully match the price.

It is beautiful resort and the beach is even better. There is a shuttle bus from the hotel to the beach. Our family were able to swim in the beautiful Aegean Sea. The beach staff Deejay brought bean bags and we were all able to sit together as a family. The food at the beach bar is also excellent. We had a great time. The hotel staff are very helpful and friendly.

The location was perfect and the hotel layout and rooms were superb. Excellent front desk staff. Food at the Al a carte restaurant was great value and quality.
We had very windy weather and they could have been more proactive around the pool areas collecting sunbed cushions and uprighting umbrellas.
Bath towels were not as big or fluffy as experienced in similar class hotels, although they were adequate.

Very clean, lovely staff.
Poorly programmed lifts made it very time consuming to get around. The spa really isn’t a usable facility, in that after spending roughly £5K for a week’s stay, one shouldn’t have to pay a further 25 euros an hour to use the spa. Appalling.
