Location, spacious room and large balcony

Damp, cold and moldy smell The walls are so thin that you can hear the other guests. The owner does not speak English even though it’s supposed to be one of the languages spoken per the Booking website.

The location of the property is incredible with an amazing panoramic view over the Lake as well as amenities, restaurants and even a little private beach close by. This must be the best Villa you can get on this side of Lake Como!

Loved our holiday. We stayed on the first floor villa and enjoyed the full balcony. A perfect villa - all the amenities, photos don’t do it justice - everything is in excellent condition. Enjoyed the pool and BBQ. Our apartment also had two bathrooms which we didn’t expect. A couple of nice restaurants near by, the village had a religious festival and we were very welcomed by the local community. We also made the most of what felt like a private beach.

The weather was VERY hot during our time. Air conditioning in the bedrooms would have been brilliant.

Large luxury renovated apartment well equipped and overviewing the lake. Very clean, quiet and comfortable stay. Much better looking in reality than on the properties photos. Well exceeded the expectations.

Restaurants and grocery shops are 20 min driving in Varenna

Excellent location with great views down lake Como towards Menaggio. Nice small pool and short walk from the beach facing south on the lake. For shops etc you really need to drive into Colico which has a nice harbour area with lots of restaurants. The local Ul Crottino restaurant is very good, simple Italian food in a family run restaurant

Only point I would make is that you really need to drive to get to shops, there is a small local shop nearby, only take cash (no cards)

Quiet place, really great host, convenient location if you travel by car.

Loved the views. Great location though you needed a car. Excellent facilities.

The address on booking.com shows Colico as the address and it is well out of Colico in the next town. We had problems finding it putting in the address given in the google maps. The host came and found us in the end. No plug in the bath which was a problem. Agree on a cost for heating prior. We were charged 45 Euros for 3 nights which I think was expensive considering the cost of the accomodation.
