Everything!
The solitude, the amazing sea view from our room. The size of the room was also great.
They had an onsite restaurant too, which we ate at every single night (also daily for breakfast since it was part of our package).
The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We rented a scooter on site.
It was everything we hoped for and more.
They also have the friendliest puppy and cat, which made our stay even better.
I would definitely recommend this place and would hope to be back soon!
For us it wasn't an issue because we like the peace and quiet and drive scooters, but restaurants are limited close by, as you are at the edge of the island. But that is what Koh Mak is for, peace and solitude.

Beautiful and calm place with very professional, kind and helpful staff.
Unfortunately the smell in the room was so bad that we didn’t want to spend much time in the room.

The staff is amazing also the restaurant is probably the best on island we ate there often good price and no problem with any of the food
Dirty and old, bad smell around toilet every day also when they change the towels to new they are old and smelly, beach is better on the other sides around the island and it’s far from everything … only recommended going there if you are on straight budget
