Kind staff and good facilities in general.
One of the windows didn't work properly. The ventilator of the bathroom didn't work either.

Close to Essen HBF. Room was spacious. Works for a really short SOLO stay if you're really tight on budget
The place is really old; it seems like the main business is the bar downstairs, so they don't care too much about the hostel upstairs... No AC or Fan in the room. Shower and toilet work but they're really old. Stayed 3 nights and no proper cleaning was done to the toilets or showers or anything, they barely changed the toilet paper. No elevator available, only stairs. It can get loud outside, since there is a bar in the ground floor
