Very friendly, helpful staff. Breakfast was good although of the two days I had breakfast I was only asked once for my room number to confirm I'd paid for it. I could have had it for free on the first day. I liked the option of getting a voucher at the bar if I opted not to have my room cleaned. About a 10 min walk to the university and about 15 mins from the station so a good location for me. I would certainly return here when visiting Essen again.

Very professionel service - we came at a busy time, but the receptionist was Quick and very fast.
The rooms were cosy and central location with nice restaurants and different things close.
If u have an electric car there’s charging right outside the hotel on the other side of the Road (cheaper that the hotel) with 4 hours free parking.
