Bring earplugs!

Tenants upstairs are very loud! Screaming children who run around, ride scooters, and bounce balls all day above you!

Bathroom sink drains very slowly. This was our 2nd stay. Drain was a problem both times.

The accommodations were very good and well appointed but noise and hot water were very irritating.

The apartment was well appointed, very clean and nice amenities like soaps, shampoos, spices.

The noise from the upstairs renters. Their children stomped around most of the day and sometimes outside of “quiet hours”. The bathtub height was very dangerous and there should have been secure safety bars. It appeared there was only one hot water system for the building which caused sudden disruption in the showers. The non-stick frying pans was severely scratched. Off street parking was fair but the driveway was very steep to walk up especially in bad weather.

Pleasant

This was underneath a house where a family lived. There was no noise abatement between floors so we could hear the children running back and forth and even hear coughing and talking. The location was not within walking distance to anything. It was clean and everything you would need but just not a place we would stay in again.

Nice view

Street parking and the steps to go up to the unit were rocks and uneven pavers which were dangerous after dark. Unit was not well marked and difficult to find. Child upstairs ran back & forth across the floor from the time he got up to the time he went to bed.

Once the people upstairs stopped being noisy, the stay was very nice.

Cleanliness

The room was advertised as a house. It is not. It is a separate room with separate entry underneath a house. The people upstairs were very noisy, I could hear a tottler running around and things being dropped onto the floor. I called Vaca Customer Service to ask the people in the house to be more quiet. Then things got better. I also forget belongings and was told there is a $25 charge to retrieve them. The items are not worth $25 but I still would like them back. ...after a few days from the above review, you'd think the owners would have contacted me to give me my things back given I live in the area. Nope. : (

Nice but would not stay there again.

It was a nice place, good location.

Noisy (upstairs), furniture was uncomfortable, water ran cold in the shower when water was turned on upstairs.

Clean and comfortable but not super restful.

Lovely view but difficult to move luggage and walk up steep driveway and park on the street.

photos much nicer then the actual dwelling.

the overall place was ok, when I entered the house it smelled musty, the inner shower curtain was nasty an moldy needed to be replaced. everything else was pretty clean. however the photos were much better then the actual property. the noise from upstairs was very loud a child started running through the upstairs house about 5-6:00am. it was very loud. personally I would never rent this location again. no place to park except down on the street when someone else wasn’t parked there otherwise my vehicle was on the side of the street. The dwelling drastically needs to be updated and the area rug was curling up and I tripped on it constantly. For the price I paid I expected it to be more updated and at least a clean shower curtain. The amenities were good they had a washer & dryer which I appreciated.

Very good

Clean and pretty. I wasn’t in the property that much except to sleep.

Lots of noise from upstairs when the child was running around. Not at night. Need a lighter blanket for the bed in the summer.

Very disappointed.

very loud refrigerator .TV that did not function until I purchased batteries for the remote and reprogrammed the remote. Did not have a functioning TV until the 5th day of our stay

great location to Gig Harbor but watch out for the parking

Location was great, very close to Gig Harbor and only about 5 miles from family. The place is cute and tidy. Has washer and dryer and that was handy.

Parking is not good, if you have mobility issues this is not the place for you. Drive way in about 35 yards long or so and its an incline parking is on the street but that is on an incline also. Due to surgery if I had still been using my knee scooter I would not have been able to get out of my car. Also if you want to sleep in, you can hear everything that the people above are doing and they have a small child that runs everywhere in the house.
