The owner met us on our late arrival and made us very welcome, our room was at the back and very quiet . I can not really comment on the location as this was a one night stop on a lengthy driving tour of England and Wales and we arrived and went straight to bed and after a lovely cooked breakfast the next morning left for a final couple of destinations . I asked the owner if there was a launderette locally as I was running out of clean clothes and she offered to wash them which was great as they could dry overnight . A special mention to lovely Trudy the dog of the house who was also very welcoming .

It’s a gorgeous house in a great park side location, you can park for free out the front and the host is wonderful and does a brilliant breakfast. The rooms are spacious and the decor is grand

Excellent location with parking. Amanda was delightful and so helpful, and especially tolerant of our very reactive dogs. We loved the breakfasts and the fresh coffee and I always love being able to meak tea and coffee in the room.
The house was really lovely, very tastefully decorated with gorgeous decorative and period pieces!

It's easy to tell that a lot of hard work goes in to the upkeep
For me personally a handrail on the entry steps, and up the stairs, although I understand most people would be fine without. Loved the balcony but would have like there to be a gate at the top of the stairs/steps
The shower didn't drain well and flooded on to the floor and the wet towels were still there the next day so I didn't shower that day as I was afraid it would flood again.
It was extremely hot as we were having a heatwave so a fan would have been lovely but obviously that was an unusual occurrence.
