An amazing place to stay in a beautiful part of the world. We booked the pool cabin which was amazing, but it a bit pricey. It was located at the bottom of the grounds, overlooking open countryside, with its own pond, with its own fish and the largest hot tub ive ever seen. The cabin itself was very cosy and clean, a very comfortable stay. The pub itself was just as well presented with amazing food and staff.
It is a bit pricey, but for a special occasion, worth it.

The staff were helpful and allowed us to check in early, and the rooms and dining areas were thoughtfully refurbished
Our room was very small: for the cost we were expecting a larger room. It was quite cramped and the bathroom very small. If the heated towel rail had been required (we visited in summer) it would have been difficult to use the toilet without burning our leg. Plus no room for a toilet roll holder. The breakfast was mixed- the cooked English breakfast was very nice, the eggs Benedict less so as the bernaise sauce did not taste freshly made. There was no fresh fruit, very limited cereal selection and only one choice of coffee (cafetière). For the cost of the room with breakfast this was disappointing.
