Great location close to buses and trains. Lawson next door and a 10 minute walk to markets and Asakusa main area temple and train station.
Tight space not much room for luggage. Needs a mini fridge and tissues.

The anime aesthetic is cool for photos but doesn’t extend much further than the reception area and some funky carpets in the corridors. On site washing machines and tumble dryers were useful. Lawson store below hotel is 24h and great for amenities
The bed was rock solid, only comfort seemed to be a thin mattress topper which, after days of walking around Tokyo, offered very little comfort and my back was agony by the end of the trip. Pillows were also weird, hard on the bottom and very small, struggled to get a good sleep each night.
The hotel also seemed to attract some of the worst guests. I should have thought about this before booking but the theme of the hotel seems to attract lots of families with kids who were a constant nuisance screaming and running around corridors outside the rooms, and seemingly all the social constructs of Japan like not watching TikTok at full volume or shouting on the phone were forgotten about by everyone once inside the building. This is fine if that’s the kind of holiday you want but it was incredibly jarring after the relative peace of the non-tourist parts of Japan. You can’t blame the hotel for the behaviour of the guests but it has to be mentioned for anyone who wants a more peaceful stay. Our stay came just after a few nights in a comfortable, serene hotel in Osaka and was not the atmosphere we wanted, if you want a more mature experience or value comfort over convenience I would look elsewhere
