Location of the flat was excellent, just an 18 minute walk from the station and a 10 minute walk into the centre of York. There was a Tesco Express 5 minutes from the house and plenty of nearby pubs/cafes if you didn't want to go into town. The property is long and thin, with a bedroom at each end, one with an ensuite and the other with the bathroom so close it might as well be an ensuite, so for two couples sharing, the layout is perfect. I really appreciated that I was able to take my dog at no extra charge. The courtyard is secure and walled, so there's no chance your pet could escape!
My dog spilt a bit of water from his dog bowl on the laminate floor by the front door and when I wiped it up, the cloth I used was quite dirty. When we arrived there was food spillage on the floor around the hob. The rest of the property was clean and tidy. My friends thought the pillows were too hard. Personally I thought they were OK, but perhaps leaving a couple of soft pillows in an ottoman or cupboard (there was plenty of space) would provide choice.

Everything! The location, the parking in York is minimal so having this private parking was incredible! The property was private, clean and comfortable.
We didnt have a long enough stay!

Brilliant for three adults with comfortable beds, main bathroom and ensuite. Loved being able to relax outside in the private courtyard. One of the main gates to the York City Wall was 'just around the corner'.
