Perfect property quiet location, comfortable and a nice walking distance to the centre. Either along the river or through the beautiful museum garden.
Everything we needed for a few days in York
Lack of parking even in allocated areas

Great central location. Very spacious and clean.Well appointed with everything you need.Staff were very helpful and responsive.5 minutes to the river and abbey gardens, 9 minutes scenic walk to the Minster .
Only improvement would be a coffee maker or Nespresso pod machine.

Location was excellent & the property was spacious & warm. Helpful hosts.
The property is advertised as a 'cottage' but it's a small house: it needs some attention in terms of the decor & comfort for the price. The sofa cushions slide off, the toilets didn't flush well, the curtains were wonky & the pictures were mostly damaged; the showers were also not great. With a bit of an upgrade, this would be well worth what is charged. We really enjoyed our stay as we had what we needed - the location was great and the hosts were helpful & responsive.
