The property is simple but comfortable and historic with a lot of interest to explore. The welcome was warm and my room was comfortable with everything that I needed including hot water on demand.
The location is very good with easy access to the central part of town which is quite commercialised so it was good to be in a quiet setting on the outskirts a short distance away. Unlike many places in Ecuador such as the old town in Quito the central parts of town offer a wide variety of restaurants and bars.
Of particular note was the really excellent breakfast in a lovely setting and with a good choice of four options. Having a breakfast choice is also unusual in Ecuador. The breakfast was one of the very best I have had during two weeks in the country with a very friendly and attentive service, well presented food and two offerings of additional coffee.
I really loved this place, I would certainly stay again and I can recommend it to others.
PS the friendly but restrained welcome from Leica the dog and her companion was also much appreciated by a dog lover like me.

This property has charm and character. Comfortable beds and amazing breakfast is served. It's walk distance to centro Banos and many restaurants. It's also close by the thermal hot springs.

Easily walkable distances to the heart of it all as well as the bus terminal. We only got to spend one night here so didn't get to really experience the full vibe and performance of the place but we very much enjoyed our quick stay. The art was a fun feature as was the courtyard.
Still a little noisy despite being off the main streets but we were there on a Friday night.
