We arrived on Friday evening and was able to drive straight to our lodge which was unlocked and ready for us, with our own parking spot. The stay was very peaceful and we enjoyed the hot tub very much. We were able to cook dinner and breakfast in the lodge with no problems. We visited local shops a 5 minute drive away and spent the day in bath which took 40 minutes drive roughly. The WiFi was great and they provided us with a guide which included local takeaways, taxi companies and general helpful information. We had a lovely stay!
We came across a couple of hornets which liked the purple outside light. They did eventually leave when the light was turned off. The bed was slightly uncomfortable but that would be down to our preferences.

Great location, easy parking, interior design was lovely. Kitchen had everything I needed. Bed was comfortable. Good hot shower.
It was very hot and there was not a fan provided. I’d expect one for the cost of the place. The hot tub is not as aesthetically pleasing as the other lodges I’ve stayed in. There is not probate fenced off garden on this lodge.

Clean, staff were friendly, peaceful. Lake view was beautiful & nice to sit on a morning with a cup of tea & watch all the birds and geese, most were friendly & would come right up to the lodge to see what’s going on.

Good location base for visiting Longleat and Stonehenge.
Was under the impression there was fishing on site but that was not the case. Also, would have been helpful to have instructions for using the oven.
